The Doyon CARES Assistance Project (CAP) is the allocation of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding that allows Doyon to provide a one-time payment to eligible Doyon Shareholders who experienced negative financial impact directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic between March 1, 2020 through December 31, 2021. COVID-19 related impacts must have not been paid or reimbursed by any other Alaska Native Corporations, CARES Act Program or any other federal, state, tribal or local government.
Eligible Doyon Shareholders
  • Are over the age of 18; and if a custodian dependent(s) will be added based on your current Doyon Shareholder record; and
  • a U.S. citizen living in the United States; and
  • have an individual income of less than $100,000 a year
Applications will be accepted until November 11, 2021 at 5 p.m. AKDT, or until all available funds are spent. Completed applications will be processed in the order they are received. Failure to submit required information will delay processing and may cause the application to be denied.
Payment will range up to $1,200 per adult and $500 per dependent and will be sent November 23.
Each eligible adult Doyon Shareholder should submit only one CAP application form. If multiple Shareholders reside in household, each must submit individual applications.
